I have many attributes that are stored against the instance of parts in my assembly's.
I was looking for some code that would allow me to place a note with a leader line pointing at a part and pulling the part attribute such as material type, name, or any other attribute that is stored against the instance of it.
Currently I have to use the "Note" command on the pmi tool bar and in the symbols area select "Category" -> relationships -> "Inset Object Attribute".
Then select "Component" from the selection filter. Click on the part I want the property from and select the attribute and hit ok on that dialog.
I have recorded several journal of creating this however I have been having a problem making to so that each part I click generates a call out with the proper attribute.
If any one has any thing similar I could look at it would be nice.
